Moody's Upgrades APICORP's Rating

Italian Company to Install Fiber-Optic Network

Decree Allows Foreign Investors to Enter Joint Ventures in Libya

Libya’s Ministry of Economy has issued a new decree allowing foreign companies to enter joint ventures and open a representative office to study the Libyan market. It is aimed at reorganising and facilitating the process of foreign-local partnership.

MMSL new service connects Sicily, Malta, Libya ports

Mediterranean Maritime Services, a newly registered company formed between VPJ Limited and Kucuk Shipping Limited, has launched a cargo service operating a weekly roll on-roll off cargo vessel connecting Augusta to Valletta and to Tripoli and Misurata.

Libya Deploys Military Ahead of First Post-Qaddafi Elections

Libya’s interim government will deploy more than 13,000 troops along with aircraft and naval vessels to ensure security during the the country’s first free national elections since the removal of Muammar Qaddafi.

OTMT in talks to manage two telecom firms in Libya

Libya to vote after decades of dictatorship

Tripoli - Libyans vote on Saturday for a constituent assembly, the first body elected since the ouster of dictator Muammar Gaddafi, tasked with steering the country through its critical transition.

Libya says 330,000 voters register for June poll

TRIPOLI — The chief of Libya's election commission said on Sunday that 330,000 people have so far registered as voters to elect the nation's first constituent assembly in June.

"The number of voters registered by yesterday (Saturday) evening is 330,000," Nuri al-Abbar told a news conference in Tripoli.

Abbar said that the number was a "positive indicator" that an increasing number of citizens would register as voters at 1,473 centres nationwide.

Libyan Minister of Economy expects $1 trillion in FDI
